“Life isn’t always about beating the waves.
Sometimes, it’s about learning to breathe underwater.”
—L.E. Bowman

Individual Session

During individual sessions I will work with you on a one-to-one basis. During this time, I will provide you a non-judgemental space to tell your story, identify your feelings and assess how they are impacting your behaviors, support you with decision making and allow you to tap into your own healing power while also developing new tools and strategies.

Individual sessions are designed to be 50-55 mins in length.

Couple's Session

Couples counseling is designed in a way that meets your and your partner’s needs. I will support you and your partner during decision making and problem solving around treatment options, grieving a loss together, or working through any strain that you may experience in your connection and communication during this time. I also work with couples in the perinatal and postpartum stages around transitions and co-parenting.  I draw from the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused Therapy in my work with couples.

Couple's sessions are designed to be 50-55 mins in length.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis immediately call 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. Additional resources can be found here.

Costs & FAQ

At this time, I am only providing services via telehealth. I partner with Grow Therapy and Headway for my virtual assistant services, insurance billing and my secure electronic health records portal. HIPAA secure telehealth video conferencing can be accessed on your computer, phone, or tablet.

Cost and insurance:

$140 | Initial Intake (Individual/Couples)

$140 | 50 min Individual Session

$140 | 50 min Couple's Session

Currently accepting the following insurances:

-United Healthcare

If you are utilizing insurance, Grow Therapy or Headway will verify your insurance and co-pays before your intake session. It is highly recommended that you also confirm your benefits, including co-pays, co-insurance and deductible before your intake appointment.

I can provide a superbill for clients requesting reimbursement with their insurance provider to request out of network coverage. Prior to the intake session, please contact your insurance company to see if out-of-network service can be reimbursed and to understand the process for requesting a reimbursement, as this is not always guaranteed/approved

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You will always know the cost of your session without any hidden fees.

What to expect before your intake appointment:

After you book your initial intake appointment online through the client portal, you will be sent intake and consent forms, and assessment measures that I ask you to complete before your appointment. These forms will help me gain some basic information before the initial session. You will also set up your billing information at this time.

During your initial session, we will talk more about what brought you to therapy. Since I will already have the basic paperwork, we can dive right into what you are currently experiencing and how it is impacting you. When you leave the initial session, we will have a plan for how we will work together in future sessions. If you are seeking couples counseling, it is important that both partners be present for the first and sequential sessions.

On-going sessions:

During on-going sessions, we will work together to address your treatment goals in order to address your presenting areas of concern. Sessions can be set at a frequency that are therapeutically appropriate and what works for you. Most clients start with meeting 1 x a week and then shift to bi-weekly.

Cancellation policy:

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not requested to cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a set fee of $60.
